UK-based retailer Tyrell Models now stocks the inventive figure range created by Sweden’s Sven-Åke Grufstedt, as CHRIS CLIFFORD reports.
It seems that 3D printing has really taken hold in our hobby, with many aftermarket accessories now being produced. The format has extended to the production of figures – and it’s certainly been embraced by Swedish modeller Sven-Åke Grufstedt, who is releasing 1/35 and 1/72 3D-printed resin figures under the SSR Models label, in the realm of historical subjects. However, for those seeking more variety, SSR also offers apocalyptic and zombie-themed subjects… but all feature fine detail and have creative poses.
