ICM
This Ukrainian firm has forged a great reputation for producing well-detailed aircraft, military, maritime, auto and figure kits, in various scales. Highlights include the series of 1/48 A-26 Invaders, Junkers Ju 88s and the Ford Model T in 1/24 scale.
FOLDED-CANVAS CARRIER
Efforts to standardise the motorised sections of the German Wehrmacht resulted in the Leichter Gelände Einheits Personen-Kraftwagen (Light All-Terrain Personnel Carrier), replicated in 1/35 scale by this ICM offering.
WIRELESS 'ON THE DOUBLE'
ICM has sprung another ‘combo’ product on modellers as part of its Diorama Series, this time focusing on German radio trucks.
TACTICAL WATCH
Depicted in the kneeling position and armed with a Beretta 92-series pistol and slung M4A1 carbine, ICM’s fourth Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team member makes for an imposing presence.
Shirtsleeves and Shorts
ICM has added another trio of aircrew to its range of 1/32 figures with this selection representing two pilots and an officer wearing uniform suitable for the hot and humid conditions experienced in World War Two’s tropical theatres.
Legionary Commander
Comprising 42 components plus a three-part base, this ICM release depicts a 1st Century Roman Centurion, complete with distinctive Scutum shield, Galea helmet and Gladius short sword.
Soviet Soft-Top
It’s been seven years since ICM released its first Moskvitch, and this re-release depicts the soft-top version.
Command on the move
ICM’s ZiL-131 is back in its command vehicle configuration, but this time with the inclusion of two figures from its Soviet Drivers set (35641).
Double the fun!
When ICM released its first 1/48 Heinkel He 111s, few modellers would have considered a Z-1 ‘Zwilling’ (German for twin) glider-tug version in this scale – yet here it is, and it’s huge.
TAXI DE LA MARNE
Alongside the London taxi iteration of its 1/24 Renault Type AG (see Reviews, Mar 2020), ICM has released a 1910 Parisian version, popularised as the ‘Taxi de la Marne’ following its morale-boosting role transporting French troops to the namesake battle in 1914.
FOUR-GUN DONKEY
The Polikarpov I-16 was continually developed during its service, leading to a wide array of versions. ICM has mirrored this with its range of 1/32 kits, including this Type 10 version.
