This recent release from ICM is a 1/35 kit of the Leichter Gelände Einheits Personen-Kraftwagen (Light All- Terrain Personnel Carrier), a design intended to standardise the motorisation of the German Army and manufactured between 193642. Although the vehicle type was unsuccessful, this release is an excellent offering. The chassis receives superb all-wheel suspension and steering system parts, including individual springs, linkages and wishbones. Similarly, the powertrain is a kit in itself, as there are separate sub-assemblies for the engine block, clutch and gearbox, and a differential/driveshaft set-up replicating the all-wheel drive arrangement.
