World War One modellers can gain inspiration and stay organised with Cross & Cockade’s new 2024 calendar.
An annual highlight for many modellers who build World War One subjects is the Cross & Cockade calendar. Produced by The Great War Aviation Society, the calendar features beautiful original artwork for each year, plus a date rectangle for each day. Each piece of art is unencumbered by data, this being saved for the last page of the calendar, which features each artist’s name, the subject and contact/website information for every artist. Profits from the calendar help to maintain the British Air Services memorial in St-Omer, Pas-de-Calais, France. The subjects on this, the 25th edition, are:
Trenchard Inspection, Brandenburg D.I, Letord Let.5, B.E.2e and L.15, Nieuport Nie.23, de Havilland DH.9A, Macchi M.5, Short and HMS Empress, Albatros D.II, Blackburn Kangaroo, Roland D.VIa and Salmson 2 A.2.
