AUTOMOTIVE AFTERMARKET specialist Decalcas has released a superb photographic reference guide to the MG Metro 6R4 rally car, subject of two upcoming 1/24 kits from Belkits.

The book (KOM-UDG015), which is published by Komakai, forms part of the Ultra Detail Guide range and offers a wealth of imagery of the chosen subject without text. As such, the 95 pages are devoted completely to demonstrating the vehicle’s construction, organised into sections covering the exterior, tyres, driving compartment and engine. The photographed vehicles are all preserved and/or modified cars, likely because the 6R4’s Group B category was banned during the 1986 season. Nonetheless, this is a superbly detailed study of the Metro 6R4 that will aid any build project.
