centenary Lodekkas

Hornby has commissioned two version of the 1:76 scale Bristol Lodekka from Corgi as a continuation of its centenary year celebrations. July marks the anniversary month and the Lodekka is the second product announcement following on from the Liverpool and Manchester Railway Open Third coach.

Corgi Lodekka

The two Lodekkas use Corgi established tooling which includes a die-cast metal body, interior detail and clear glazing. The two models stand out for their choice of destinations - one displays Binns Road No. 20 and the other Westwood No. 64. The route numbers mark significant points in Hornby's history, with No. 20 representing the 1920 establishment of Hornby Railways and No. 64 the year that Lines Bros obtained Hornby.
