Hornby's all-new 'TT:120' scale Class 50 Co-Co diesels have arrived with retailers and are in stock now on the Key Model World Shop.

These latest additions to the ‘TT:120’ scale range have been developed from the ground up using measurements and 3D-scan data from the full-size protoypes.
Two models form the initial batch of Class 50 releases finished as 50007 Sir Edward Elgar in Great Western lined green (Cat No. TT3013M/TXSM) and 50040 Leviathan in BR large logo blue (TT3014M/TXSM). A third previously-announced model of 50049 Defiance in GB Railfreight orange and blue (TT3015M) is not now expected until 2025.

Hornby’s all-new models feature a five-pole skew-wound motor, Next18 Digital Command Control (DCC) decoder socket, directional lighting, cab illumination, separately fitted lamp brackets, grab handles, jumper cables, footsteps, buffer beam pipes, buffers and etched metal grilles.
50007 and 50040 will be available DCC ready and DCC sound-fitted. The sound-fitted examples will feature Hornby’s HM7000 Triplex Sound (TXS) decoder, preloaded with the latest Class 50 sound profile, together with a factory-fitted speaker too.
