Milton Keynes Model Railway Society's (MKMRS) popular model railway exhibition returns on Saturday July 16 at an all-new venue - the Ridgeway Centre in Wolverton Mill.

The exhibition is set to feature 30 layouts, trade support, displays and demonstrations.

Amongst the layouts booked to appear are Wayne Webb's outstanding 'N' gauge layout Dentdale, reflecting a stretch of the Settle-to Carlisle line between Dent station and Blea Moor tunnel, Peter Ellis and David Court's 'OO' gauge Fenny Stratford based on the station just east of Bletchley, as it was in the 1950s, MKMRS' own 'N' gauge Brinklow layout, set on the Trent Valley stretch of the West Coast Main Line between Rugby and Stafford in the 1950s and 1960s and Brian Key's delightful 'OO9' Ilfracombe East, depicting a fictitious branch of the former Lynton and Barnstaple Railway between Blackmore Gate and Ilfracombe.

Traders include AGR Model Railway Store, Elaine's Trains, P&D Marsh, Ian's Trains, Keith's Model Railways and railway artist James Green, together with the Talyllyn Railway Preservation Society, Wrenn specialist Andy Dayton and more.

In addition, the show will also include a Tri-ang Big Big Train display, a tree-making demonstration, refreshments and more.

The exhibition is set to take place at the Ridgeway Centre, Featherstone Road, Wolverton Mill, Milton Keynes MK12 5TH - doors open at 10am and close at 4.30pm.

Admission is priced at £5 for adults, £1 for children and parking is free.
