Ukrainian kit company Roden has two interesting new kits due this January-February…
PKROD346 Heinkel He 111Z-1 Zwilling 1/144 £25.99
Having already kitted the He 111 with H-6 and H-16/H-20 boxings, Roden now offers almost twice the styrene with the Zwilling – German for twin – whereby two He 111s were joined by the mainplanes. Two Eastern Front colour schemes are provided:
• DG+DY, Battle for Stalingrad, 1942-43
• TH+ZI, Crimea, spring 1943
PKROD817 1938 Ford V8-G81A Special 1/35 £45.99
A new tool from Roden, this replicates the vehicle built at a Ford subsidiary in Germany. Five different registration plates are provided here, for German military and police units. It was based on the Ford V8 and manufactured from 1938-41.
