Bachmann's eagerly-awaited all-new ‘OO’ gauge BR Class 25 Bo-Bo diesels are amongst a raft of newly-tooled models revealed as part of Bachmann’s quarterly British Railway Announcements for Summer 2024.
The new Class 25 Bo-Bo diesels are expected to be released this Summer, while further all-new ‘OO’ tooling includes three additional BR Mk 1 carriage types, BR 12ton ‘Palvan’ pallet vans, GWR 10ton ‘Bloater’ fish vans and Plasser 12ton YOB diesel-hydraulic cranes – the latter two projects as part of the EFE Rail range. ‘N’ gauge modellers can expect a selection of newly-tooled 14ton and 20ton anchor-mounted tank wagons, new tooling for the conical ended 102tonne TEA bogie tanks, together with the long-awaited arrival of the Class 450 Desiro four-car Electric Multiple Unit (EMU), while Bachmann’s all-new ‘NG7’ narrow gauge range is set to feature four newly-tooled ‘Quarry Hunslet’ 0-4-0STs and complementary coal and slate wagons.
