Fresh items by the aftermarket firm will interest anyone building the BAE Hawk and Cold War NATO jets, plus Apache and Black Hawk helicopters.
Ukraine’s Reskit, echoing several other accessory manufacturers, has fully embraced 3D printing to support its traditional cast resin products. Both styles are employed on the new sets sent to Key Model World, catering mainly for 1/48 scale, but also 1/35.
RSU48-0270 MB Mk.10LH Ejection Seats ($8.40)
Having stunned us with the detail on its recent 1/32 Martin-Baker Mk.10 Hawk T.1 seats, Reskit now offers 1/48 equivalents for the Hawk T.2, Mk.67, 100/102 and CT-155. This is where3D printing really does make the eyes pop, as all the features on the 1/32 seats are scaled down here, but with the same sharpness. A full harness array and quick-release box are present, along with the seat pan firing handle, drogue gun and its linkage, the main gun and its sear pin are all provided for the utmost refinement. As you’d expect, two seats are provided but also data placards in waterslide decal form.
