Peco has released the first of its new collection of 'OO9' narrow gauge Ffestiniog Railway 'Bug Box' carriages. Watch them in action on our 'OO9' terminus layout, Wardle Bay, here in our latest video.

Bug Box coaches

THE CARRIAGES of the Ffestiniog Railway are a popular subject with Peco's 'OO9' narrow gauge range of ready-to-run stock. The latest to arrive are the four-wheel 'Bug Box' coaches which offer a new choice of passenger stock for narrow gauge. Each of the coaches rides on plastic wheels which are hidden behind the overhanging sides, giving them the appearance of gliding along the track.

For this video we coupled our trio of review samples behind a Bachmann 'OO9' Baldwin 10-12D 4-6-0T for a short running session on our compact narrow gauge terminus, Wardle Bay.
