Bachmann has revealed four newly-tooled projects as part of its Winter 2023 British Railway Announcements line-up, including an all-new ‘OO’ gauge Southern Railway ‘Booster’ Co-Co electric locomotive within its EFE Rail brand, together with all-new ‘OO’ gauge Thompson Full Brakes (BG) and HRA bogie hopper wagons for Bachmann Branchline and a set of the latter wagons in ‘N’ gauge as part of its Graham Farish offering.

Bachmann’s EFE Rail range receives a boost with the addition of newly-tooled SR third-rail electric locomotives CC1 and CC2 for ‘OO’ gauge.
Designed by the SR’s Oliver Bulleid and Alfred Raworth and built at the company’s Ashford Works in the 1940s, their numbering followed the company’s policy of reflecting the locomotive wheel arrangement at the time.
