See Fairwood Junction at the 2024 Great Electric Train Show

The layout line-up for the 2024 Great Electric Train Show continues to expand with the latest addition being Steve Jones’ superb new ‘OO’ gauge layout modelling Fairwood Junction in Wiltshire.

Fairwood Junction heads for the 2024 Great Electric Train Show.

This newly completed exhibition layout features on Key Model World and models the location in the modern era with an impressive collection of modern freight and passenger workings including HSTs, Class 800/802 bi-mode units and second-generation DMUs for passenger services as well as the Mendip stone workings which are so prominent in the area.

Fairwood Junction joins the stunning Redbridge Wharf (HM201), Charwelton into the ‘80s and Ebsworth Street in ‘OO’ gauge as well as Newvaddon Parkway in ‘N’ gauge (HM188) and the return of Hornby Magazine’s ‘O’ gauge Seven Mill Depot layout.
