This is a shunting layout designed to provide as much operating interest as possible in a small space. It is based on no particular prototype but aims to capture the atmosphere of industrial sidings that were once to be found in many towns in the heyday of the railways. It measures just 48in x 16in, is built to ‘OO’ gauge and has baseboards made from 6mm MDF on a softwood frame.
