Heljan 'O' Class 60 rerun
Heljan has announced that a new batch of its 'O' gauge BR Class 60 Co-Co diesels have been approved for production in a selection of BR sectorisation and privatised era freight colour schemes.
Five general release models are planned including two unnumbered examples in unbranded BR Railfreight triple grey (Cat No. 6000) and unbranded DB traffic red (6004), together with 60021 Penyghent in GB Railfreight blue and orange (6006), 60059 Swinden Dalesman in weathered Loadhaul orange and black (6007) and 60028 in Cappagh/DCRail blue (6010). In addition, two further models are being produced exclusively for Gaugemaster as 60081 Isambard Kingdom Brunel in GWR lined green (6003) and 60046 in DC Rail grey (6009), which will only be available through Gaugemaster stockists. Further retailer exclusive 'O' gauge Class 60 models are also due to be announced for KMS Railtech and Tower Models shortly.
The new models will follow previous releases and feature a heavy chassis, twin motors, flywheels, directional head and taillights, cab illumination, sprung buffers, etched metal grilles and more.
Priced at £649 each, they will be produced in limited numbers. Delivery is anticipated during 2021.
