Hornby has received decorated samples of its forthcoming ‘OO’ gauge RailRoad Plus models, with three colourful GB Railfreight Class 47s leading the charge.

Utilising Hornby’s reworked (ex-Lima) Class 47 as the basis, the models promise an enhanced level of decoration to include orange cantrail lining, overhead warning flashes, numbers, data panels and GBRf logos, plus a pair of separate nameplates (where appropriate).

Hornby’s trio of GB Railfreight Class 47s include 47727 Edinburgh Castle/Caisteal Dhun Eideann in Caledonian Sleeper livery (R3905), 47739 in GBRf blue (R3906) and 47749 City of Truro in GBRf rail blue.

Priced at £74.99 each, delivery is expected this autumn.
