Hornby's colourful RailRoad Class 37s

HORNBY has released a trio of colourful Class 37 Co-Co diesels in Colas Railfreight, Europhoenix and Network Rail liveries.

These latest ‘OO’ gauge arrivals form part of Hornby’s RailRoad Plus range of budget-priced models with enhanced decoration and etched metal nameplates (where appropriate).

In a change to their previously billed identities, two of these all-new arrivals now appear as 37884 Cepheus in Rail Operations Group Europhoenix livery (Cat No. R30047) and 37421 in Colas Railfreight colours (R30041TTS), together with former Class 37, 97302 Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways in Network Rail yellow with large, distinctive nameplates (R30044).

Each features a high level of decoration with small details picked out in appropriate colours, together with crisply printed data panels, lettering and labels while the Colas Rail Freight liveried model also benefits from a Twin Track Sound (TTS) decoder and factory fitted speaker.

Priced at £96.99 for standard RailRoad Plus models and £120.99 for the TTS fitted example, they are available from Hornby stockists now.
