Hornby sets Summertime Challenge
Hornby has launched an exciting competition to create a summer-themed layout and win £1000 of Hornby prizes.
To enter the Hornby Holiday Summertime Challenge, you must follow a set of designated guidelines to create a 52” x 40” (1320mm x 1020mm) layout with a summer theme. It needs to include an oval of track with a siding (see below) and must use Hornby products wherever possible.
There are two categories - under 16s and over 16s - and registration closes at midday on Sunday July 25 2021. A series of further deadlines must be achieved across the summer as part of the layout build challenge.
All entries will be judged by Pete Waterman OBE and Fuzz Townsend, with three of their favourites from each category going to a social media vote.
The winner from each category will get to choose £1000 of Hornby products, while the four runners-up will receive Hornby goody bags.
