Importer of Takom/Blitz products, Bachmann Europe, has advised us of new 1/35 scale items, which should be on sale in the UK by this May-June:

PKTAK02151 V-1 Flying Bomb w/ Interior £32.99
An ever-present danger throughout southern England and the Low Countries from mid-1944 to the war’s end, the dreaded V-1 flying bomb has been kitted by Takom, with full interior detail. The kit offers a clear fuselage and wing, as well opaque styrene alternatives, along with a wheeled trolley, photo-etched metal details and the choice of four schemes.

PKTAK02152 V-1 Flying Bomb Launch Site £89.99
If you really fancy building Takom’s 1/35 ‘Doodlebug’ flying bomb, but want to make more of it in display terms, the company will also release a combined package offering the weapon itself, along with its launch ramp, starter steam catapult and spare launch piston. Also provided are photo-etched brass details and markings for four different V-1s.

Germany’s mighty Sd.Kfz.186 Jagdtiger (Hunting Tiger) has now been kitted by Takom‘s sub-brand Blitz, in 2 in 1 format, allowing the employment of either 128mm PaK L66 or 88mm PaK L71 guns. Hatches can be posed open or closed, there are link-and-length tracks (with an assembly jig), PE parts and a PaK L66 metal barrel. Choose from four different colour schemes.

Having already released a 2 in 1 late-production boxing of the StuH 42 and StuG III (see a review with video here), Blitz is now bringing us the early-production vehicles, again in 2 in 1 format. Highlights include open/closed hatches, link-and-length tracks, PE components and the choice of four colour schemes.
