Dapol adds more ‘OO’ Class 68s
Dapol is adding another four new ‘OO’ gauge Class 68 diesels to its release schedule.
Due to appear later this year, the four new versions will be finished as 68016 Fearless (Cat No. 4D-022-019) and 68018 Vigilant in DRS Compass blue (4D-022-020) and 68027 Splendid (4D-022-021) and 68031 Felix in TransPennine Express livery (4D-022-022).
Dapol’s ‘OO’ gauge Class 68 features a heavy die-cast chassis, all-wheel pick-up, independently selectable lighting, separately fitted detailing, etched metal nameplates and small tension lock couplings in NEM pockets. As with previous releases, these Class 68s will be offered in Digital Command Control (DCC) ready, DCC fitted and DCC sound-fitted formats.
Prices are set at £159.99 DCC ready, £189.99 DCC fitted and £260 DCC sound-fitted. Sound-fitted examples are exclusive to the Dapol website. A delivery date is yet to be confirmed.
