Dapol announce 'O' gauge Conflat and container wagons
Dapol has confirmed details of its new 'O' gauge ready-to-run model of the Conflat wagon and BD container which will expand its range of steam era goods wagons for the scale.
The specification calls for a die-cast chassis with compensation beam for smooth running, injection moulded body and detail parts, Sprung metal buffers alongside sprung couplings to go with the expertly applied livery. It will also be available with both vacuum and non-fitted underframes.
Three container versions will be initially available modelling the GWR BK2 (illustrated), BD2 and BR BD furniture and general purpose containers.
Dapol have set the RRP at £44.95 for the conflat and £64.95 with container and are awaiting artwork and initial tool delivery. In total six versions will be available with containers and four as Conflats only.
