Dapol has received decorated samples of its all-new ‘O’ gauge Great Western Railway (GWR) 20ton ‘Toad’ brake vans for scrutiny.
Dapol’s newly-tooled ‘Toad’ brake vans will model GWR Diagram AA15, AA19, AA20 and AA21 vehicles initially, with ten models being produced initially in BR grey and BR bauxite. A selection of different running numbers will be available together with unnumbered examples of the Diagram AA15 van in BR grey and AA21 van in BR bauxite.
Dapol’s all-new 'O' gauge ‘Toad’ brake vans will feature a die-cast compensated chassis, profiled wheels with brass pockets, sprung metal buffers, separately fitted detailing and fully detailed interior.
Priced at £101.52 each, release is expected in late 2023.
