Some larger kit companies are never slow at jumping on the back of a blockbuster movie, even though the licensing fees can be hefty. Revell seemingly realised the benefits of the outrageous and long-running Fast & Furious films, by adapting and re-branding some of its older car kits.

Amazingly, it’s now 20 years since the franchise’s debut, The Fast and the Furious, which starred the late Paul Walker and Vin Diesel. The latter actor has reprised his role of Dominic Toretto in various instalments.
Other stars pulled into the action-packed plots include British former model and martial arts expert, Jason Statham, who gained fame in Guy Ritchie’s films Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, and Snatch, and was the main character in the Transporter trilogy. Yet another big name to feature is ex-wrestler Duane ‘The Rock’ Johnson as Luke Hobbs; he and Statham also starred in the wildly over-the-top 2019 spin-off Hobbs & Shaw.
