The Lanz Bulldog was a family of tractors manufactured by Heinrich Lanz AG, a former agricultural machinery producer from Mannheim, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It produced tractors from the early 1920s to 1956, when the firm was bought by the Deere & Company (now John Deere) of Illinois, USA. The Lanz Bulldog was one of the most popular German tractors with more than 220,000 eventually being built.

During World War Two, German forces utilised all manner of civilian equipment – especially powerful agricultural machinery. These tractors were used by the Luftwaffe as aircraft tugs and for moving ordnance and other items around airfields. They were also used by the Wehrmacht in the rear areas to transport and resupply frontline units, as they could cope with the boggy terrain. As the box suggests, there are basically two kits from MiniArt featured in this offering, the first is the Lanz tractor (first produced in 2021); the second is the cargo trailer (released initially in 2022).
