PREVIOUSLY, WE have featured Tyne Dock depot and the collection of motive power that accumulated there in the final years of steam (HM148). In this feature, I’d like to move the clock forward a few years, to the post-steam, pre-TOPS BR blue era that’s such a fascinating subject to model.
