‘OO’ GWR steam
railmotor CADs approved
Kernow Model Rail Centre’s forthcoming ‘OO’ gauge Great Western Railway (GWR) Steam Railmotor has progressed to the tooling stage of the production process following final approval of the CAD drawings.
Five ‘OO’ gauge models are planned to cover Diagram O and Diagram R variants, as 93 in as-preserved GWR lined crimson lake (Cat No. K2301), 97 in simplified GWR chocolate and cream (K2302), 63 in GWR lined brown (K2303), 85 in GWR lined crimson lake (K2304) and 61 in GWR fully lined chocolate and cream (K2305).
Each will reflect respective detail differences between types and will feature a 21-pin Digital Command Control (DCC) decoder socket, working directional lamps and interior illumination. Prices are set at £149.99 for pre-orders, rising to £159.99 upon release. A delivery date has yet to be confirmed.
