Revolution Trains announces exclusive Class 59 for ‘N’

Revolution Trains is producing a limited run of 59101 in the brand new Heidelberg Materials green livery for ‘N’.

Revolution Trains went to see 59101 when it was reprinted into its new green livery.

The locomotive has recently been repainted into its striking new colour scheme. Ben Ando and Mike Buick from Revolution Trains were invited to Whatley in early December of 2023 to see the newly painted locomotive.

Revolution Trains says that although the main range of Class 59s is already in production, this model of 59101 will be produced in limited numbers for ‘N’ gauge.

This model of 59101 includes detail differences reflecting the prototype such as National Radio Network roof pods in dedicated recesses behind the cab, revised chassis details with sub-class specific lashing loop positions, revised yaw damper arrangement and a revised style of lighting. The model also includes a die-cast chassis, easy assess decoder socket, etched nameplates, Next 28 decoder socket and body-mounted kinematic NEM close coupler sockets.

59101 has been repainted into a new green livery.

The model can only be ordered from Revolution Trains' website and is currently anticipated to arrive in late February or early March.
