SEVEN MILL Depot is set to make a return to the exhibition scene at the 2024 Great Electric Train Show. The layout was originally built in 2019 and made its debut at the Warley National Model Railway Exhibition.
The layout models a small diesel depot and stabling facility and features 1960s era rolling stock with a choice of Western or Midland region traction. It is 11ft long and 2ft 6in wide and makes full use of readily available 'O' gauge products from Heljan, Skytrex, Peco, Scale Model Scenery and more. The locomotive roster is drawn from the Dapol and Heljan ranges and all locomotives running at the Great Electric Train Show will be weathered and sound fitted.
The track on Seven Mill Depot is Peco bullhead code 124 and the layout is DCC controlled to allow multiple locomotive movements within the compact track arrangement. See it at the 2024 Great Electric Train Show.
