Hornby’s forthcoming ‘TT:120’ Class 37 Co-Co diesel has progressed to the design stage of the development process.
The all-new ‘TT:120’ model was revealed as part of Hornby’s initial launch of the new range in October 2023, as part of phase three of the fledgling range’s plans.
Currently at the early CAD stage, a 3D prototype model has been assembled for evaluation by the company’s development team. No specific variants or running numbers have been confirmed yet, but the specification will include a five-pole motor, dual flywheel, all-wheel drive and pick-ups, directional lighting, illuminated headcodes, cab lighting and Next18 Digital Command Control (DCC) decoder socket. Additionally, each model will be available DCC ready and DCC sound-fitted (TXS).
