Utilising Bachmann’s new 'OO' gauge Class 37 tooling, these latest additions to KMRC’s range will be finished as 37207 William Cookworthy in BR blue with Cornish Railways emblems and 37196 Tre Pol and Pen in BR Railfreight grey.

37207 received its name and distinctive Cornish Railways embellishments in the 1980s and will be the second time that KMRC has produced a ‘OO’ gauge model of this locomotive. However, this time the model uses Bachmann’s latest tooling for the class and will feature the later orange cantrail safety stripe carried between early 1986 and mid-1987.

The BR blue colour scheme will also feature Cornish Railways branding on the cab fronts, while the red bodyside BR double arrows also feature the ‘Wizzy Lizzy’ lizard logo entwined.

KMRC’s second new Class 37, 37196, carries the name applied during the GW150 celebrations in 1985 and was the first Class 37 to carry the new BR Railfreight grey scheme. It appeared in this form until May 1987.
