Dapol BR 20ton brake van variety
Dapol is to produce a further batch of its popular ‘O’ gauge BR 20ton brake vans, including newly-tooled variants.
This next selection of models will feature later air-braked examples of Diagram 1/506 and 1/507 with roller bearing axle boxes and sprung metal self-contained Oleo buffers, together with further variants of the previously-produced models.
Amongst the planned new identities are B951841 in BR grey (Cat No. 7F-200-009), B951260 in BR bauxite (7F-200-010), B953501 in BR bauxite (7F-200-011), B954768 in BR bauxite and yellow (7F-200-012), CAR B954781 in Railfreight grey with coal sector markings (7F-200-013), ZTO DB951767 in Civil Engineers’ ‘Dutch’ grey and yellow (7F-200-014) and CAR B954561 in Railfreight grey and red (7F-200-015).
Dapol’s ‘O’ gauge BR 20ton brake vans feature a die-cast chassis, compensation beam for improved running characteristics, die-cast wheels with steel tyres and pin-point brass bearings.
Priced at £84 each, release is anticipated in early 2022.
