Nuclear PFA Deco samples
Accurascale has taken delivery of decorated samples of its forthcoming ‘OO' gauge PFA nuclear container wagons for assessment by the company’s development team.
Six triple packs of two-axle PFAs are planned, featuring the company's newly-tooled selection of nuclear containers including the distinctive ‘Dragon’ flask, along with Nupak, Novapak and 2896 waste containers. As with the prototypes, the models display a wealth of printed warning notices and labels.
All six triple-wagon packs are available to pre-order now – five can be ordered from Accurascale stockists, while the 'Dragon’ flask pack is exclusive to the Accurascale website.
In addition, the company has unveiled further plans for a new selection of its popular ‘OO’ gauge coal and low-level nuclear waste PFA wagons.
This next batch of the ‘OO’ gauge four-wheel container flats will include four triple-wagon packs loaded with 20ft containers in Cawoods yellow (packs E and U) and British Fuels red (pack I), while the low-level nuclear waste PFAs (pack S) are also due to reappear. All vehicles will feature new running numbers.
Priced at £74.95 each, all PFA packs are due to arrive during the final quarter of the year.
