Mirage
The Mirage first flew in early test and development form during 1954, after being built by Dassault Aviation in France. Many variants were completed, including those of the later F1, which shunned the standard delta layout for a more traditional separate mainplane and tail arrangement, but all Mirages were supersonic. French squadron service began in 1961. Read our full collection of Mirage aircraft news, features, reviews and builds here, covering the Mirage III/5 and F1 families.
