O gauge

'O' gauge - or 7mm scale - model railways are amongst the largest available in the British market which run on 32mm gauge track. Ready-to-run locomotives, carriages and wagons are produced by Dapol, Heljan and Lionheart Trains in the main while there are also high end hand built brass models available from the likes of 55H, Masterpiece Models and Lee Marsh Models. 'O' gauge has a large supporting cast of specialist kit and accessory makers while a range of track components is available off-the-shelf from Peco with both flatbottom and bullhead rail profiles. Check out our full collection of 'O' gauge modelling news, layout features, modelling guides and reviews here.
